Creative campers use natural materials—sticks, stones, leaves, clay, and sand—to make outdoor sculptures, land art, and textured prints. Activities blend creativity with exploration as campers gather materials on hikes, experiment with patterns found in nature, and make take-home art inspired by the outdoors.

Creature Comforts

Campers explore how animals adapt to winter. Activities focus on winter camouflaging, how creatures stock up on food before hibernation, and hands-on nature play that highlights survival strategies in the colder season.

Winter Chemistry

Blending hands-on, frost-inspired science experiments with plenty of outdoor play. Campers explore simple reactions, create winter-themed projects, and enjoy time hiking the trails and connecting with nature.

Get ready to think, build, and explore like a true nature engineer! Campers will use teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving to design bridges, shelters, and water systems using natural materials. From testing stick towers to building leaf boats that really float, this hands-on adventure blends science and imagination in the great outdoors. It’s all about experimenting, creating, and discovering how nature inspires real-world engineering!

In Winter Chemistry, campers will explore the science behind reactions, color changes, and states of matter using safe, outdoor-friendly materials. From mixing mysterious “potions” to creating natural chemical reactions, campers will discover how temperature, water, and everyday ingredients make science come alive.
